

Only residents who live west of Chautauqua will be allowed vehicle access beyond the closure. After 6 p.m., all traffic will be diverted at 6th Street and Baseline Road. To help reduce fire danger and ensure the safety and enjoyment of the Fourth of July holiday for all visitors, Flagstaff Road will be closed from 6-11 p.m.

Paid parking is in effect at/near Chautauqua Park on the holiday, and the free Park-to-Park shuttle will be running from 8 a.m. Parking is free on city streets and in all city-owned lots and downtown garages on Independence Day, July 4. Alcohol, grills and glass bottles are not allowed at Eben G. or the Main Boulder Public Library, 1001 Arapahoe Ave. Community members should park at the Boulder County Justice Center, 1777 6th St.

Fine Park is open, but once it’s full, staff will only allow vehicles in when a parking space becomes available. Visit to plan your visit to city open space.
